148 Reunion

Kate was utterly speechless.

She was determined that if she had to go with Lucy in the future, she would make sure to prepare some brain supplement for her. That way, Lucy’s airhead could be recovered slightly.

Jake took it and then nodded. “Which floors are your friends?”

“They should be on the fourth floor.”

“They’re at least... rank 4, right?” Lucas asked, his tone was a bit strange.

In this new world, people who could reach rank 4 were basically those who were either so talented or managed to obtain a lot of resources. But even those with talent wouldn’t be able to do anything without having enough resources.

Hailey pursed her lips when she saw her cold cousin. Her father had already informed her that her mother begged for her sister to help. To think that they would instead send this cold faced cousin of her.

But she had no other choice but to follow them.

Who would want to stay in this place any longer?

“Wait, can we... can we follow you?” One of the students asked carefully when he saw that this group was bringing guns and seemed to be better than Lucas’s sister back then.

The dog was barking loudly and stretched its claw, killing the giant mutated animals in front of it.

There were already three people there, adding another dog and a person caused it to be extremely cramped.

The two of them didn’t have good expression, but the young man said nothing and entered the car. Anyway, the one who allowed him to enter was that driver at the front and not Hailey.

However, Hailey’s face was gloomy. This Marc was another person whom she didn’t like.

“No.” Marc looked at his dog sternly.

“Meow?”

Kate turned to look at the pair of dog and human with interest. It has been a long time since she could communicate freely with others with this animals’ special language.

“Wang!”

“Robby!” Marc warned his dog.

“Meow.”

Kate was paying more attention to Marc. He kept on responding to their words with appropriate response.

Marc looked at the cat in Kyle’s arm and saw her deep blue eyes were looking at him. He hesitated for a moment and then said, “Yes.”

“Meow?”

Lotte listened to the conversation of these three and her expression turned a bit strange. Why did she feel like eavesdropped right now?

Uh no... the others were definitely curious about what these three were talking about.
