"Big Yu! Do something, if this matter is known to her then she will never support me," Ding Nuannuan said to Big Yu who was just as flustered.

She had tried to use her Ghostly aura to make Yu Dong follow Ding Nuannuan's whims but unexpectedly, her skills did not work on Yu Dong. Why? What was going on?

Yu Dong definitely could not see a spirit that was lingering on the surface of the world where she was living, however, she did feel a sudden energy attacking her and immediately turned to look at the source of it but to her surprise she did not find anything.

'What's going on?' Yu Dong thought as she looked at the young girl in front of her. This was the second time she felt as if something was attacking her.

Seeing that Yu Dong was not reacting, Ding Nuannuan felt a bit worried. If Yu Dong was not won over by the Favourability wisp then she would not believe anything that she was going to tell her.

With that, she turned on her feet and walked away leaving Ding Nuannuan alone to stare at her in surprise.

Yu Mai who was being held in Yu Dong's arms made a face at Ding Nuannuan whose face turned livid with rage.

Ding Nuannuan was furious but she knew when to retreat, even though she was not happy with how the situation turned around, she had no choice but to retreat.

She took one last look at Yu Dong and her brother before turning on her feet and running back home.

On the other side, Yu Dong who was hugging Yu Mai looked down at the child in her arms before saying, "Does it hurt?"

"It hurts but that bad girl must be hurting more, I bit her fingers!" Yu Mai announced angrily. He huffed and then buried his face in Yu Dong's neck. After a while, he murmured, "Sister..did I eat our parents?"

Yu Dong who was walking down the path to home, paused. She turned to look at Yu Mai and asked in disbelief, "What did you say? Who did what?"

"Did I eat our parents?" Yu Mai asked with an aggrieved expression. "The bad girl said that I ate our parents which is why sister doesn't like me...but I did not eat our parents, so why did that girl say such a thing ?"

"She said such a thing?" Yu Dong felt a nerve throb in her head as she clenched her fingers. Right, she was wondering why Lang Ru lost her temper. She narrowed her eyes, the young girl couldn't know such a thing, most probably one of the adults in the family told to her.
