"I am not going to apologise. What did I do wrong?" Ji Jiangang asked with a stubborn expression on his face. "Enough!"Li Wan felt her headache as she listened to the thing that Ji Jiangang was saying to her. She knew that her nephew was not a good man but never did she think that he was this rude and ill-mannered.

She breathed heavily before saying, "Fine! Since you don't want to apologise then don't do it."

Li Zhe and Ji Jiangang heaved a sigh of relief when they heard that they did not have to apologize to that mer. If they had to lower their heads in front of that mer, then they would have surely lost an inch of skin.@@@@

"However from now on don't even think about using my name ever again," Li Wan stated as she glanced at the two people who have refused to listen to her.

"Sister...what do you mean by that?" Li Zhe seemed to have understood something but he dared not to put that thought into words. He was afraid that if he said the things that he had in mind when his sister was in such an angry mood, he might end up in much bigger trouble than he was at the moment.

"What do you think?" Li Wan sneered. "You and your son had used my names many times but I have never said anything. I only asked you to recognize Mount Ra before causing trouble lest you offend someone you shouldn't. Now that you have caused the army rations to be cut off, do you think that I will continue our relationship?"

Li Zhe's face turned pale and so did Ji Jiangang's. What was this? If they refused to apologize to Xiao Hua then Li Wan would break her relationship with them.

"S..sister are you serious?" Li Zhe asked. He of course did not believe that his sister would abandon him but she looked so serious that he did not dare to treat her words lightly.

Old Master Ji on the other hand sighed heavily. Though he was angry as well, he couldn't do anything to his daughter-in-law as the one who was in the wrong was his son.

He turned to look at his son and said to him, "Ah Zhe, I think you should listen to your sister and apologize to that mer. If you refuse to listen to her then I am afraid that your losses would be more than your gains."

"Daddy, you too?" Li Zhe could not believe that his daddy was actually standing against him as well. He thought that no matter what his daddy would support him!

Daddy Li sighed heavily once again before saying, "Ah Zhe, we are mers. We rely on the women of our family. Your sister is a good woman but she is just as loyal as your mother. If you and your son become an obstacle to the victory that she had been dreaming of then your sister will not think twice before cutting you off."

"Listen to me, and apologize to that mer. At least that way your sister will forgive you."

Li Zhe's face twisted. His expression was filled with reluctance and hesitation, it was as if he would rather die than apologize to Xiao Hua.

"Don't be foolish, Ah Zhe," seeing that his son was still refusing to accept reality, he could not help but reprimand him. "Be wise enough to accept your losses before it's too late."
