Chapter 1341: Run and caught

"Run! Keep running Mai!" Li Yuya pulled Yu Mai along with her, she looked behind them and could see the bear coming close. She never thought that they would end up running into a bear!

"It’s your fault! I told you again and again that we should leave but you did not listen! That the forest is dangerous," Yu Mai felt tears prickle in his eyes. He was really scared of bears and even their names scared him. When he was young, his mother went to meet a bear and told him that she would come back in a few days but she never returned!

Instead, his daddy went to see his mother and never came back. Everyone in the village told him that his mother was eaten by the bear. Was he going to be eaten by the bear as well?

He did not want to!

Li Yuya saw Yu Mai crying and felt really guilty. She didn’t want this to happen and she only wanted to train and get stronger to protect her daddy. In the storybook, the princess trained without facing any danger and became a powerful woman. Li Yuya thought that the same thing would happen to her.

She would live in the forest and train. When she would get hungry, she would eat the fruits in the forest and when she got thirsty she would drink water from the stream. She never thought that just one night in the forest would lead her to get caught by a bear!

Li Yuya was really scared as well but as Yu Mai’s big sister, she couldn’t cry. Since she wanted to become strong this was her first trial! She needed to make sure that her younger brother was safe!

The two kids rushed past the trees, one was crying while the other was holding her tears back. The two of them looped around the trees and snuck past the gaps that were not big enough. Little Heart was running in front of them as it guided them past the paths.

Behind them they could hear the sound of a bear growling, it was chasing them on its fours, causing the two children to run even faster. However, compared to the bear that could run faster than them, the two kids couldn’t run far from him.

"It’s getting close! It’s getting close!" Yu Mai screamed with his head looking behind him. He could see the bear getting close to them, and the closer it got, the more terrified he became. What was he supposed to do now?

Li Yuya gritted her teeth, she pulled Yu Mai along with her and did not look back. She was worried if she looked behind her then she would end up crying like Yu Mai. She felt worried and guilty, if not for her Yu Mai would not have come to this forest and nothing like this would have happened to them.

Little Heart barked at the bear but it was too small to do anything to the bear that kept getting close and close.

"Howl!"

The sound of coyotes echoed in the air and soon the bear that was digging deep in the tree trunk was attacked by the coyotes. The dark forest slowly lit up with a golden glow and Yu Mai and Li Yuya heard Yu Dong’s voice,

"You two come out."

When Li Yuya and Yu Mai heard Yu Dong’s voice their eyes lit up. They knew that they were saved and immediately scrambled out of the small space, behind them was Little Heart who rubbed his head on Yu Dong’s feet before rushing to his siblings.

He barked at his siblings who barked back looking really proud. They listened to their big brother and then brought Yu Dong to the forest they did a good job!

While the pups were feeling proud, Yu Mai and Li Yuya were feeling really guilty and ashamed.
